Sunday's Visitors

Here are a few visitors that we found in the stream near the new house. They came under the bridge from the farm across the street. I enjoyed watching them that is until they walked over near the road and I had to look like the fool chasing after them trying to save them from becoming road kill.
FINALLY, the rain has come to alleviate the daily watering ritual! YEAH!

Just A Blog

Well Liz, you must be happy. Carly is gone from A.I. Not that I liked her, but I didn't think she should have been booted as of yet. I must say - What is wrong with America??? JASON SUCKED SO BAD and BROOKE STARTED HER FREAKIN' SONG OVER!!! And Syesha and Carly are in the bottom two?!?!!?! COME ON!!!!! Unfortunatly, it is a popularity contest.
House is coming along ... after 48 hours working on the yard this weekend there is no rain in sight!!! Soooo .. needless to say every evening consists of 1-1/2 - 2 hours of watering. It's amazing that a little thing like rain would save me hours of work. But, I'm really not complaining Mother Nature because this weather has been gorgeous and if I do complain you'll get me back at another time when we're planning an outside gathering .. I just know it.

Good Bye Michael Johns!!! - It Was Not Your Time!!!

My heart was broken tonight.

I am still in shock at the elimination of my favorite idol Michael Johns. Now, I'm not going to claim that he is the "next American Idol" ... however ... he is better than Brooke and Kristy Lee no doubt! There must be a million pervert blondie lovers sitting home smackin' the ham with one hand and voting for these sucky ass blondes with the other. (I do apologize .. I'm just really upset).

I will miss you Michael!!!

DEMO TIME!

So, things have gone crazy on the home front. Renovations started out slow but have since exploded! After weeks of looking at paint chips I have FINALLY picked our room colors. Not an easy task!!! Ended up with 7 different colors just for the upstairs. Work has moved downstairs and it is mostly demo work (like our kitchen floor in the photo)...
Things have also been strange around here with the absence of my daily morning chat with Mom. Even though she is in UCONN mourning, she did give us a call and they are enjoying their trip down south.
There are only two more days before spring break starts so I am enjoying the silence (before the storm). We will hopefully get away for a few days -- we ALL need it!

Addiction OVER!!!

OK - so my addiction was short lived once I moved on to a different part of the house. The family room has totally different wallpaper and is now tearing in 1 inch pieces.

My new job is organizing all the people involved in this remodel - well, now that I think about it - the wallpaper might be easier ...
