This weekend we took a much needed break from things and took the girls up to Jiminy Peak in MA. Back in the PC days (pre-children) we used to go up to the Mount Tom Alpine Slide (I think it's closed now). We kept telling the girls how much fun it was so we googled away and found that they had one at Jiminy. Come to find out they had a lot more than just the Alpine. There was a mountain coaster, rock climbing wall, rope adventure course, mini golf, etc. We had a BLAST! We only took one trip to First Aid for "Kamikaze Erica." The girl with no fear went full speed ahead and flipped her cart. Just ripped some skin off her arm and leg and jammed her finger but her main fear was if she broke a nail - she was safe!
Well, if you know Dave, you know what happens when you enter the state of MA --- it means we are stopping in Northampton. Welllllll ... after our Jiminy adventure, we hop in the car and hit the GPS system (Lhasa Cafe address already programmed in there) and it's 71 miles away!!! Car gets 13 miles to the gallon, gas is at $4.30, WHO CARES!!!! We are going!!! It was worth the trip. The dumplings were excellent (and Dave was happy). An awesome trip with an "Erica/Kristen Fight Count" of 0!!!
(Didn't want to worry about carrying the camera so I had to use a photo of some random on-line kid on the right.)
